Looking to Rush Delta Tau Delta?
Since 1858, Delts have been chasing something bigger — a life of excellence.
It’s more than a motto to us. It’s how we show up every day — on the intramural field, in the classroom, at service events, and even just hanging out with the guys.
No one expects you to walk in the door already having it all figured out. But when you join Delta Tau Delta, you’ll be surrounded by brothers who push each other to be better — to work harder, aim higher, and go further.
Our values, truth, courage, faith, and power, aren’t just words. They’re the reason Delts go on to lead in their careers, in their communities, and in life.
Along the way, you’ll experience everything from philanthropy events and epic socials to road trips and real brotherhood, the kind that lasts way past graduation.
If you’re ready to step into something more, we invite you to see what the Delt Difference is all about. Because when you grow, we all grow stronger.

Recruitment FAQs
On Sunday, September 21, you'll kick things off with our New Member Ceremony, the official start of your time as a Delt. From there, you’ll meet once a week for about an hour to learn more about what Delta Tau Delta is all about: our history, values, and what it really means to be a brother.
Then in mid-November, you’ll go through Initiation and become a full member, with all the perks that come with it.
But don’t worry — you’re not sitting on the sidelines while you’re a new member. You’ll be right in the middle of everything: our Yee Haw Delta Tau social, philanthropy events, football tailgates, Mom’s and Margs, and plenty more all semester long.
It’s going to be a solid ride. Let’s get it started.
When you join Delta Tau Delta, you're not just joining a group on campus, you're joining something way bigger.
With over 200 chapters nationwide and 170,000+ brothers (both active and alumni), Delt is a network that stretches across the country and beyond. That means real connections, leadership opportunities, and access to scholarships and national events that can help you level up — not just in college, but for the rest of your life.
Here at UL, being a Delt means getting involved on campus, giving back to the community, building friendships with other Greeks, and having older brothers in your major who’ve already been through what you’re going through.
Wherever you want to go in life, Delt can help you get there.
Your first semester in Delt, dues are $750. We get it — it sounds like a lot. But here’s the deal: that money goes directly into making your experience here legit. It covers everything from chapter events and socials to new member resources, insurance, our national headquarters, and more.
The good news? You don’t have to drop it all at once. We offer monthly or bi-weekly payment plans — just talk to our Director of Finance and we’ll make it work. We’re not here to let money get in the way of you joining something that could change your life.
After your first semester, dues drop to $685, and that’s the rate for the rest of your college years in Delt.
Look, people love to joke about “paying for your friends,” and honestly… we own it. Because these aren’t just friends, they’re brothers who’ll back you up, push you to grow, and be there long after college ends. That’s what your dues are really paying for: the experience, the memories, and the brotherhood.
Delta Tau Delta at UL, also known as the Epsilon Psi chapter, is a chapter built different.
We were first founded in 1969, took a short break, and came back stronger than ever in 2019. With 19 active members, we’re a tight-knit group where everyone actually knows each other.
Our mascot? An albino alligator. Yeah, it’s rare, just like us. It represents how we grind, bounce back, and stand out.
You’ll find our brothers all over campus — on SOUL Camp staff, Student Orientation Staff, SGA, and more. We’re not just here for the socials (though those are fire too), we’ve had the highest GPA on campus more semesters than not since we returned.
We’re not your typical frat, and that’s exactly the point. We’re here to break the mold, raise the bar, and build something that lasts. We always have. We always will.
The better question, why wouldn't you? We’re looking for guys who don’t settle — the ones who take chances, lead from the front, and actually live by values like courage, truth, and drive. If you're someone who wants to grow, build something real, and make the most out of college (and life after it), Delt might be exactly what you're looking for.
Sound like you? Hit us up — let’s talk.
If you're a freshman, you'll need to go through Recruitment Week hosted by UL's Interfraternity Council. It runs from September 17–20 and gives you the chance to meet all nine fraternities on campus, connect with other guys looking to join Greek life, enjoy some good food, and get a real feel for what each chapter is all about.
To sign up, just click the link in our Instagram bio (LinkTree) or click here. It’s $30 to register, a solid price for a week that could change your college experience.
If you're a sophomore or above (30+ credit hours), you’ve got two options:
Go through Recruitment Week just like the freshmen
Or, join informally — which means once you and the chapter are on the same page, we’ll hand you a bid card and your Delt journey kicks off September 21.
Whichever route you take, we’re pumped to meet you. Let’s get started.
Throughout the week, you and the other guys rushing will be split into small groups and rotate through all nine fraternities on campus. You’ll meet the brothers, get a feel for each house, and figure out where you vibe best. At the same time, the chapters are doing the same, getting to know you and seeing who’s a good fit.
By the end of the week, you’ll rank your top 3 fraternities. If your #1 picks you too, boom, you’re in. If not, and your #2 or #3 offers you a bid, you’ll become a new member of that chapter. Easy as that.
The following is a breakdown of the week:
Wednesday (September 17th), Tailgate on the row (5 pm-9 pm)
Thursday (September 18th) Tailgate on the row (5 pm-9 pm)
Friday (September 19th) Preference night (houses and convention center for off-row fraternities) (5 pm-9 pm)
Saturday (September 20th) Bid day (Bourgeois park) (12 pm-1 pm)
Here is a breakdown of the attire:
Wednesday (9/17): Business Casual (Khakis and Polo) (Khaki shorts acceptable)
Thursday (9/18): Business Casual (Khakis and Polo) (Khaki shorts acceptable)
Friday (9/19): Business Professional preferred, Business casual acceptable.
Saturday: (9/20): Casual Clothing
TL;DR: It’s a chill but important week. Show up, be yourself, and find the house that feels like home. Let’s get after it.
